Upon arrival we were both greeted by the 2 friendly parrots who hung about for awhile, eating dinner with us. (messy eaters, but joyful Chatterbugs!) There is something completely profoundly decadent about dining outside in nature’s gasp. Truly completing the soul. We decided to go for a late walk on the Z trail. We encountered many amazing spiders intricately weaving their webs, we did enjoy the natural elements used for design, added to my nature’s moss. We took a few wrong turns and got somewhat lost. There was contemplation on actually spending the night in the forest until we spotted a clearing and found the road – ironically only 10 metres away from the red gate.
Would have been hilarious to spend the night in the forest and awake 20 metres away from our tiny home in the morning. Tonight, we made the most of the fire and the bath, once more bathing in nature. It has truly been a delightful stay.

Thankyou so much, hope to visit again, you’ve created something truly unique and forest therapy has truly been welcomed.”

We had a lovely time here among the beautiful swaying trees and amazing ferns – baths, walks, hammocks, fires, BBQ- it’s an adult’s playground & all the facilities were used. Most of the birds hid although Andrea was visited by a shrub wren while she had a bath which was memorable. Saw brown thornbills in the bird bath and crimson rosella on the last day. Cockies in the trees, but mostly “small brown jobs”(Mark’s account). We had a lovely visit to Lake Elizabeth & Erskine Falls (many steps!)
